The Lost Oaks Campground Policies and Rules
General Rules
- Check-in/Check-out:
- Campsites: Check-in 2:00 PM, Check-out 12:00 PM
- Cabins: Check-in 3:00 PM, Check-out 11:00 AM
- Speed Limit: 5 MPH on all campground roads.
- Vehicle Limits:
- One RV per campsite.
- Two vehicles maximum per campsite.
- Boats and ATV trailers may be parked in designated areas.
- Occupancy Limit: Maximum 6 campers per site (per state guidelines).
- No outside Firewood allowed
- Generators: Prohibited.
- Vehicle Operation: Only licensed drivers may operate motorized vehicles.
- ORV Use: ORVs may only be driven to access ORV trails. 5 MPH speed limit applies.
- Prohibited Items: Fireworks, firearms, bows & arrows, BB guns, pellet guns, paintball guns, airsoft guns.
- Children: Adult supervision required at all times.
- Pets:
- Must be leashed and under control.
- Barking must be minimized.
- Pet waste must be cleaned up immediately.
- Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Campfires are permitted, but please keep noise levels low.
- Campsite Navigation: Do not cut through campsites.
- Wastewater Disposal: Use the campground sewage system.
- Alcohol Consumption: Allowed, but unruly behavior will not be tolerated.
- Property Preservation: Do not deface trees, tables, or any other campground property.
- No nails, screws, or other objects should be driven into trees or tables.
- No tree trimming or limb removal.
- Structures, including but not limited to sheds, decks, gazebos, fences, hot tubs, pools or any other permanent or semi-permanent structures is prohibited.
- Fire Safety:
- Fires are permitted in designated fire rings only.
- Fires must be attended at all times.
- Safety Reporting: Report any unsafe behavior or injuries to campground staff immediately.
- Cancellation Policy:
- 7-day cancellation notice required to receive a refund (minus a $15 fee).
- Reservation fee and lock fee are non-refundable.
- Cancellations within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable.
- Text and email cancellations are not accepted.
EV Charging Policy
- EV charging is strictly prohibited on all campsites.
- Campground electrical pedestals are not equipped for EV charging.
- Attempting to charge an EV may damage your vehicle and campground equipment.
- You are responsible for any damages caused by unauthorized EV charging.
Disorderly Conduct
- Disorderly conduct, illegal drug use, or disrespectful behavior may result in ejection from the campground without refund.

Important Note:
No Outside Firewood Allowed
CABIN POLICY
The rustic cabin has a queen size bed, air conditioning, futon, mini fridge, microwave and table. It can comfortably accommodate 2 adults and 2 young children.
There is no water or plumbing in this cabin. Outside the cabin is a porch with 2 rockers, charcoal grill, fire ring, and a picnic table. Bedding is not provided.
The credit card on file will be charged for any damages made by the pet to the rental unit. If, upon check-in, damages to the unit are noted by the renter, they shall immediately bring them to the attention of staff.
CABIN PET POLICY
We understand that traveling with your dog is very important to our guests and therefore we have decided to make the cabin pet friendly with the following rules:
- $25 per night per pet fee, no more than 2 dogs allowed.
- Dogs cannot be left in cabin uncrated for any period of time.
- Dogs must be potty trained, extra $50 cleaning fee will be charged for clean ups.
- Dogs must be kept on leashes no longer than 6 feet when outside rental units. Dogs cannot be left tethered and unattended.
- Dogs are not allowed to run around campsite or campground unleashed for the safety of the dog and other campers.
- Owners must immediately clean up after their pet and dispose of it at the dog clean up station.
- All dogs are required to be current on Rabies vaccine and have paper proof on hand.
- Good behavior is required. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground, along with their owners with no refund.
- Remember manners. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you will need to find other accommodations with no refund.

Some visitors enjoy sharing the pleasures of camping with their pets, to ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience, The Lost Oaks Campground has established some guidelines.
